Speaking of Tigger's meds yesterday, this is the undignified handling she must now endure twice daily. She's never been one who liked being picked up, so being manhandled like this is definitely not her cup of tea. She has an overactive thyroid, so we give her a small pink pill twice a day. She is probably a candidate for the radioactive treatment that would fix it permanently, but given her age, we all feel that would be too difficult on her. If she were younger, we would consider it, but popping a pill in her mouth (with her nifty pill injector device) is a safer alternative at this stage of her life, and it's not that hard to do. If you can catch her! LOL

Sorry, this is the only picture I took today! I bought a single serving slice of this cake a while back, but it didn't have any nutrition information on it. I wanted to document it for future reference. (IMO, the vanilla pudding cake was better than the sour cream, but they were out of vanilla. I figure the calorie count is similar.)

Our Friday tradition: breakfast from McDonald's. DH used to pick it up, and we would eat breakfast together each Friday morning, since we both worked from home on Fridays. Now, we pick it up on our way in to work on Fridays when he doesn't work from home, but we each eat our own after we get to our (separate) work places. I miss eating breakfast with him!

A slightly belated Valentine's Day gift. I knew this was coming out this month, but I had forgotten exactly when. Then we saw CSI:NY on Friday and realized it was already out. DH picked up this one (with a few exclusive extra tracks) for me today while he and Luke were at Target. Josh Groban still makes my heart go pitty-pat!

Nobody here but us (rotisserie) chickens! We picked up two of them at Costco this afternoon and brought them home in this box. I had finished picking the meat off one of them and was working on the second one when I turned around and spotted her sitting there.

Mom recently bought me *three* pairs of shoes. I don't even remember the last time that I found three pairs of shoes at the same store that fit!! Here are two of them. This weekend was all about getting them broken in for Disney. Can't wait!

Luke participated in his first Pinewood Derby today. This was his own design (DH cut it out for him) and his own paint job. He came in about middle of the pack (out of 35 cars), so he was a little disappointed, but he still likes his car, which is what counts.

When I was holding up the earth in yesterday's picture, I noticed how "Evil Queen" my hand looked with my dark nails. When I was holding my apple today at work, I noticed it again, all the more enhanced by the "prop," so I figured it was worth a picture (especially in front of the February hearts).

This is the earth that Luke made for his science project. Using styrofoam balls was his idea, using sticky-backed felt to decorate them was mine. Using index cards to create a properly shaped and sized template for each country was my idea, but he drew them, sized them, and cut them out, all by himself!

This is what happens when you have Maggiano's for lunch and Chinese for dinner with the parents in town. I won't have to cook until Thursday, at the earliest (and that includes having leftovers for lunch *and* dinner!). There are at least two other foil type containers not pictures.
