My November cute decorations. The hanging thing on the right was given to me by my husband's grandmother. The pumpkin on the left actually made an appearance in my Halloween decorations as well. Along the bottom is just a wired ribbon held up with small rare earth magnets.

Since the cats woke me up well before 8 AM this lovely Sunday morning, we decided to run out to McDonalds for an impromptu breakfast out. Luke loves their biscuits, so he was thrilled!

We're trying to get ready for Skyfall, which was released yesterday. We won't get to see it until Thanksgiving (at the earliest), but we do want to review the two Daniel Craig Bond films. I think we only saw Casino Royale once or twice, and we never did see Quantum of Solace. Hoping to fix that soon!

A friend of mine is having surgery today. We all got together and are wearing purple nail polish in honor of her. This was my "proof" picture, with my fingers literally crossed for her for good luck. [Edit: she did fine!]

This was a nice surprise! We were touring the warehouse facility of one of our suppliers. Apparently, AT&T makes visits often enough that they had a sign made up! LOL It did truly make me feel welcome, though.

Luke had to measure things for his math homework tonight, including two things over a meter long (like our TV). I can't help but smile that he's standing on his tiptoes. He almost doesn't have to do that to do anything anymore, he's so tall! (And as you can see, Star is doing her usual excellent job of supervising.)

An attempt at an artistic shot of the piles of leaves near our house (yard guy comes tomorrow). I tweaked the contrast some to darken up the shadows (since the photograph made them look "flatter" than they do in real life), but this really is more or less what they looked like. Not bad.

Cub Scouts went to the police station today. Mr. Junior Police Officer here apparently had a blast!
