Happy birthday to me! A meal at one of my favorite restaurants (Golden Corral), and I even got a piece of cake for dessert, which I don't normally do.

I finished a piece while I was gone this weekend, but I didn't get to photograph it until today (too much rain!). I've been working on this piece pretty much since we graduated from college. About time I finished it, don't you think?

GLITTER! Glitter was the running theme/joke of my weekend. I had to sift through my suitcase this evening, and when I pulled my hand out, I found this. Just a reminder of what a good time we had.

I am so proud to have known these special women for so many years, even though we are literally sprinkled all over the country. Some I've known for only a few years, and a special few I've known for nearly 15 years (wow, when did we all get so old! LOL). It is truly a privilege, ladies! (And special thanks to Suz (bottom left) for use of her photo, since mine didn't turn out.

Tried the Chicken Bake at Costco today for lunch. YUM! It was fabulous, and it was plenty large enough to split. I took the other half (well, this half, actually) to work the next day. It reheated beautifully and was still just as yummy.
