This was a gift from my mom. She received this sample size item, but the color didn't really work for her, so she gave it to me. I love it! I have no idea what's in it or why it feels SOOO good, but wow. I'll have to see if I can get some more. [Update: Holy cow, Sephora thinks this stuff is pretty awesome, too. They charge $25 for a full size tube, which is about the size of a tube of lip balm. Um, no.]

Hopefully, physical therapy for my ankle is nearly over. Thank goodness. I absolutely despise this thing! It's called the BAPS board, and it helps make sure you can fully rotate your ankle. Waterboarding has nothing on this thing! Sheer torture.

I almost never get dessert, but after getting stranded last weekend at Longhorn on Mother's Day while DH and Luke went home to get DH's wallet (I didn't have mine), friends said I should have enjoyed dessert while I waited for them to return. The idea stuck with me, so when we went back this weekend, I did get dessert. Three of them, in fact. No, I didn't eat all three! This is their dessert sampler. I ate the apple cobbler while we were there (it was warm), and took the cheesecake and Chocolate Stampede (one of my favorite chocolate desserts) home to enjoy later.

I took this picture to show off this particular nail polish (Ruby Pumps by China Glaze; one of the most awesome reds ever!), but it actually captures my skin quite accurately. Most pictures make me look too pink or too dark; yes, I really am that pale!

LOOK!!! I got my Georgia Tech class ring onto my hand! I have not worn this ring since before Luke was born. I've finally lost enough weight to put it on. It's still too snug to wear comfortably. I've probably got another 10 pounds to go, at least, before I can wear it out and about. But it's on!!
