This was one of my new cookie recipes for the year: Praline Cookies by Plain Chicken (originally from Pampered Chef). Super easy, super fast, and quite good. I'd make a few modifications next time, but a very good start, and they will be great for the Cub Scout cookie party tomorrow.
Aren't they cute?! This is Candy Sushi, made from Rice Krispy Treats, candy (Twizzlers in the maki rolls and Swedish Fish in the nigiri), and fruit roll ups. I think they turned out fantastically well! Can't wait to serve them at Luke's birthday party on Saturday.
I "invented" these several years ago. They're called Pizzadillas. Smear a flour tortilla with pizza sauce, fill with cheese and chopped pepperoni, heat until cheese is melted. I'm sure I'm not the first or the last person to think of this, but I was very proud of myself.
My first scones. They turned out quite well! I remembered my friend Heather's advice about having large chunks of butter and that it's okay. It was hard, but I did it, and they turned out well.
Crock Pot Cream Cheese Italian Chicken, one of the most popular recipes on Pinterest! My friend Leah calls this "Chicken Yum Yum," and I have to agree with her. We served it over rice instead of pasta. YUM indeed!
Not a very good picture. It doesn't even look that appetizing (sorry). But it's the only picture I took today. This is a new crock pot chicken teriyaki recipe I tried, and it didn't used bottled sauce. It tasted pretty good, it just doesn't look pretty.
Okay, so I'm a day late, but here is my Irish Soda Bread (recipe from Plain Chicken). It was pretty tasty, though Luke didn't care for it. Sort of a cross between bread, a biscuit, and a pancake (if that makes any sense). It was very good with both regular butter and honey butter.
