Luke participated in his first Pinewood Derby today. This was his own design (DH cut it out for him) and his own paint job. He came in about middle of the pack (out of 35 cars), so he was a little disappointed, but he still likes his car, which is what counts.

Cub Scouts went to the police station today. Mr. Junior Police Officer here apparently had a blast!

Luke earned his Bobcat badge tonight at Cub Scouts. We had 24 boys get Bobcats tonight, the most ever in the history of the pack (and we have a single digit pack number, so they've been around quite a while).

I was trying to gather up his uniform for Luke to go to Cub Scouts tonight, but I couldn't find his scarf. When I went back in his room to look a little more carefully, I saw this. I think he likes Cub Scouts, what do you think?

I finally got the patches sewn on Luke's Cub Scout shirt. I love our Atlanta Area Council patch; I think it is absolutely beautiful.

We visited the Atlanta Boy Scout Area Council Headquarters today to get Luke's first Cub Scout uniform. I think it would be great to repeat this picture every year!
