I didn't really get the shot I was after. I spotted this magnolia tree in bloom out the car window, but the contrast was hard for the camera to handle (dark leaves vs pale blooms), and we had to pull away before I could adjust the settings to spot metering. Magnolia trees always make me think of the tree that used to stand in my grandparents' front yard on St. Simons Island.
